Tracing Ancestors Who Moved North During the 20th Century Great Migration

Freelance writer, Karin D. Berry, provided examples of resources to help trace the paths of our ancestors who moved north during the Great Migration. During this time period, millions of African Americans moved from the rural South to urban cities in the North. This was one of the largest and most rapid mass movements of any other ethnic group in U.S. history.
